About Reflections Granite & Marble
Custom stone, cut and set by our own crew — not subcontracted.
Reflections Granite & Marble is a family-owned fabrication and installation shop in Fletcher, North Carolina, serving homeowners, builders, and designers across Western NC, Eastern Tennessee, and Upstate South Carolina. Every countertop, surround, and vanity we deliver is fabricated in our own shop and installed by our own crew — the standard DJ Harrington has held to since he founded Reflections in 2010.
Meet DJ Harrington — Owner & President
DJ’s love of building started early. At two years old he was painting old boards alongside his grandfather at the family lake house, and he never lost the pull toward working with his hands. As a teenager he spent his summers framing and building houses, then studied carpentry for two years at his local vocational high school.
He carried that trade into college. At Alfred State College, DJ played rugby and earned his applied associate degree in 1994 before transferring to Buffalo State College, where he added water polo to his rugby schedule and studied vocational technology.
In 1998, DJ moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and took a job at a Corian fabrication and installation shop. He advanced quickly — from fabricator, to installer, to overseeing quality control across three installation crews. As demand for natural stone grew, the company expanded into granite supply and DJ stepped up as lead granite installer.
His reputation for quality opened the next door. In 2002 he was hired as production manager at a high-end granite shop in the Asheville area, where he quickly improved the caliber of the shop’s work. By 2005 he was running operations and sales for a fast-growing local fabricator.
Then, in February 2010, DJ bought a granite shop of his own. Today, Reflections Granite & Marble is home to three of the finest fabricators and installers in Western North Carolina — and DJ still has a hand in the details on every project that leaves the shop.
