Custom Stone Backsplashes
in Asheville, NC
Full-height slab backsplashes, matching countertop splashes and statement walls—measured, fabricated and installed by our Fletcher stone team.
What Makes a Stone Backsplash
Feel Truly Custom?
A backsplash sits at eye level and touches nearly every working zone in the room. When it is cut from natural or engineered stone, the surface can quietly connect the countertops and cabinetry—or become the room’s most expressive feature.
Reflections plans the visible movement, seams, edges and transitions before fabrication. Openings for receptacles, switches, windows and fixtures are measured carefully so the finished wall looks intentional rather than pieced together.
We fabricate and install the stone components. Electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, range-hood and other trade work should be established before final measurements, and any outlet relocation or connection is completed by the appropriate licensed trade.
Natural Movement.
Fabrication Precision.
Visual Continuity
Matching or complementary stone can connect perimeter counters, islands and walls into one design.
Fewer Visual Breaks
Large-format stone creates broad uninterrupted surfaces without a field of small grout joints.
Precise Openings
Receptacles, switches, windows and fixtures are incorporated into the measured fabrication plan.

Questions
Can the backsplash match my countertops?
Yes. A matching backsplash can continue the same material and movement vertically. Depending on slab availability and the design, we can also help select a complementary stone that creates intentional contrast.
Can you fabricate a full-height backsplash to the cabinets or ceiling?
Yes. Full-height pieces can be measured around upper cabinets, range hoods, shelves, windows and other fixed conditions. Slab size and access determine the final panel divisions and seams.
How are outlets and switches handled?
Their final locations are documented before fabrication so the stone can be cut accurately. Reflections handles the stone openings; any relocation, wiring, device installation or final connection is completed by the appropriate licensed electrical trade.
Will a slab backsplash have seams?
Possibly. Wall length, slab dimensions, access, pattern movement and the number of openings all influence panel size. We plan seams where they make structural and visual sense.
Can stone be installed behind a range?
Often, yes, when the selected material, approved wall assembly, appliance instructions and required clearances are compatible. Those conditions should be confirmed before measurements and fabrication.
Can you add a stone backsplash to an existing kitchen?
In many cases, yes. We first evaluate the existing countertops, wall flatness, cabinetry, access, fixtures and outlet locations to determine whether the backsplash can be measured and installed successfully.
