Custom Shower Surrounds
in Asheville, NC
Large-format stone walls, tub surrounds and precisely fitted details—fabricated in our Fletcher shop and installed by our own crew.
What Makes a Slab Shower
So Distinctive?
Large-format stone allows color and movement to travel across the shower as a continuous architectural surface. Instead of a grid of traditional grout joints, the eye sees broad fields of natural pattern and carefully planned transitions.
Slab walls are not entirely joint-free. Narrow, color-coordinated silicone seams are used at corners, panel transitions and wherever the selected slab dimensions or room layout require them. We plan those locations around the material and the space so they feel intentional.
Reflections fabricates and installs the stone components, including coordinated benches, niches, curbs, thresholds, tub decks and surrounds. We also coordinate with the builder, plumber and glass installer so every trade can complete its work in the proper sequence.
Beauty in the Surface.
Precision in the Details.
Continuous Movement
Broad panels give veining and color room to become a defining part of the bathroom.
Fewer Joints to Maintain
Silicone seams replace the repeating grout grid associated with smaller-format tile.
One Coordinated Material
Walls, bench, niche, curb, threshold, vanity and tub details can be designed as one composition.

Questions
Are slab shower walls grout-free?
Large-format slab walls eliminate the repeating grout grid used with tile. Narrow, color-coordinated silicone seams remain at corners, between required panels and at transitions. Their number and placement depend on the room, the slab dimensions and the approved layout.
Can the tub surround and shower use the same stone?
Yes. Shower walls, tub surrounds, tub decks, vanity tops and bath details can be coordinated from the same material or from complementary slabs.
Can you fabricate the bench, niche, curb and threshold?
Yes. Those pieces can be fabricated and installed as part of the stone package, with edges and movement planned to relate to the surrounding panels.
Does Reflections install the shower glass and plumbing fixtures?
Reflections fabricates and installs the stone components. We coordinate with your glass installer, plumber, builder or general contractor, while those licensed or specialized trades complete their respective work.
When should Reflections become involved?
As early as possible. Early coordination helps the project team plan wall preparation, waterproofing, fixture locations, glass conditions, access and the dimensions needed for the selected slab layout.
